An evidence-based
musculoskeletal specialist

I know how it feels to be severely injured.

Having played soccer nearly every day since I was very young, I had only ever experienced minor ankle sprains and injuries.  Then, while a fourth year intern in Chiropractic college, that changed.  I was on the soccer pitch when a fluke accident led to a near entire dislocation of my knee.  My lower leg essentially cracked off of my body like a wish bone: completely torn ACL, MCL, medial meniscus, lateral meniscus and most of the capsule.  Surgery did not turn out as expected; while in early recovery it became evident that a major nerve supplying the primary stabilizing structures of my lower leg had been damaged.

I know how it feels to undergo extensive rehabilitation and therapy.  The treatment that I provide to patients on a daily basis is the primary reason I was able to reach a complete resolution to my issue.  Advanced soft tissue therapy released the tension that manifested from my hip to ankle; Chiropractic adjustments released the joint restrictions and dysfunction that developed in my low back, hip and lower extremity; custom foot orthotics re-established perfect foot mechanics following severe arch collapse; and neurofunctional acupuncture jump started my weakened and damaged nerves, which had resulted in significant muscle weakness.

I have been where you are.  I know how it feels to be a patient, and I have extreme belief and passion for the treatments that I am so fortunate to be able to provide to others.  This experience grew into a life-long passion for the injury recovery process, as well as the improvement and maintence of optimal physical function.  My promise to you is that I will do everything in my power to help.
